Storyboardthat is a great resource for ELA and History! I've been using it with my students since I was a student teacher. The basic version is completely free and you can even sync it with your Google Classroom to make your students' accounts. I definitely recommend using this resource for a new, fun, and creative way for students to summarize novels, chapters, stories, historical events, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Edulastic is an assessment tool that can be used for any grade or subject! I first started using it in my first year of teaching to prepare my students for the SBAC/CAASPP. They have all kinds of practice exams, pre-made assessments, and even tools to create your own tests. It grades it for you and on top of that, it syncs with your Google Classroom rosters to make everything way easier.
Pear Deck is an add on for Google Slides that allows you to make your classroom presentations interactive. I just learned about it about a month ago but I've already used it several times with my 6th graders. You can add multiple choice questions and short answer questions that pop up on each of your students' individual screens and they can anonymously answer the questions! You can even have your students draw certain answers (they have so much fun with these)!
